Harkány is one of Hungary's best-known and most beautiful spas. The sulphurous medicinal water is very rich in different natural constituents and used for healing and easing health complaints in the long run. The cures and treatments in Harkány for locomotor disorders, chronic gynaecological inflammations and lymphatic malfunctions are acknowledgedly and for psoriasis very successful. The pools of Spa have 5000 m2 of water surface for therapeutic bathing. The special health-improving quality of the water is due to its high sulphide concentration and trace elements (fluor, zinc, selenium). Sulphur is present in the water in the form of dissolved gas, which can be absorbed through the skin and the respiratory tracts to affect the metabolism of the harmed tissues.
Visitors under the supervision of rheumatology specialist can participate in a complex treatment involving different forms of physical therapy, balneo-, mechano-, electrotherapy, peat treatment and medical gymnastics.

 Hotel Baranya ***, Harkány
In the three buildings of the Hotel there are altogether 82 rooms avilable for our guests. Every room has a bathroom, a minibar, and is equipped with telephone and cable TV. The hotel has closed parking area secured by video camera . The intimate restaurant is offering international and Hungarian food spacialities, draught beer and quality wines. Beside the restaurant there is a roofed garden too, where guests can anjoy live music every night.
