Hajdúszoboszló is the most popular spa resort on the Great
Plain, often called as Mecca for rheumatism sufferers. With a very healthy micro-climate (containing
iodine salt), the town lies at the edge of the famous Hortobágy ’puszta’, 220
km to the east of Budapest and 20 km from the “Calvinist Rome”, Debrecen. In 1925, Hajdúszoboszló, during a search -
drilling for oil ; thermal water appeared from the depth, 1100 m, at 75 °C.
According the analyses it turned out that the water contained iodine, bromine,
salt, hydrocarbonate as well as bitumen ( including oestrogen ) and different
trace elements: vanadium, copper, zinc, silver, strontium, barium, lead.

Located in the town Hotel
district, in the neighbourhood of City Thermal Bath. The buildings of the hotel
are situated on both sides of the Mátyás király Street. Every room is air-conditioned, almost all of
them have a balcony. Bathrooms with shower, toilet with bidet. Bathrobe, hair
drier, safe, stereo colour TV with satellite programmes, telephone and a mini
bar. There are two thermal pools in
the main building with hydro massage and whirlpool bath in the middle. An outer swimming pool belongs to the newly
built wing of the hotel together with two thermal pools. In the inner garden
there's a swimming pool with a water surface of 450 m2 and it is equipped with
different water attraction devices The
sauna, infra-sauna, steam bath and fitness equipments are free for our guests.
Large variety of wellness services awaits for guests: vital massage. medicinal
massage, body cosmetics, hair-dresser,
manicure and pedicure. The hotel has its own therapy centre with the

How To Get There ?
|
|
By car: from Budapest using the M3 motorway and then on main road no.33. (ca. 2,5 hors)
By train: Hajdúszoboszló is within easy reach along the Budapest-Záhony railway line by Inter-City train (ca. 2 hours). They depart every 2 hours from the Eastern Railway Station.
By air. From Debrecen airport by transfer provided on request.
