Description

The 30th Budapest Spring Festival provide a broad spectrum of the arts, excellent selection of artists and rich repertoire of  masterpieces with a parade of world stars and young talents.

Visiting Hungary’s biggest cultural festival you can select from classical and light music concerts, theatre performances, film screenings and open-air programs.

Itinerary

1st day:

Arrival in Budapest. Accommodation in a comfortable 4-star Hotel in the city center. Explore by walk the downtown: Váci Street, Vörösmarty Square, and Danube Promenade. Optional visit a performance of Spring Festival.

2th day:

After breakfast you will take part on a half-day sightseeing tour in the capital.

You will be familiarised with the World Heritage sites of the capital, the Buda castle District,Fishermen's Bastion and Matthias Church, the view of Danube Bank, Parliament, St Stephan Basilica, Andrassy Street, State Opera House, Heroes Square and Millenium Monument. Afternoon visit the sometime home (now Museum) of great Hungarian pianist and composer, Ferenc Liszt.

Evening concert according your previous choice.

3rd day:

After breakfast a full-day excursion to the Danube Bend with guide. Visiting Esztergom, the oldest royal and ecclesiastical residence. After the city tour you travel to Visegrad, where you can admire the grandiose panorama of Danube Bend. Lunch in a pleasant restaurant. The last stop is Szentendre, the lovely, romantic art town. In the evening you will attend one of the selected Festival program.

4th day:

Visit the memorial house and museums of Bartók and Kodály, the famous Hungarian friend musicians, composers and educators. They had already began to collect Hungarian folk songs in early 1900's what they published and also integrated into their composed music.
Afternoon optional excursion to Gödöllő and visit the Baroque Royal Castle.
Evening  Festival program, according your previous choice.

5th day:

Departure after breakfast.
