The route will leads through the Bükk National Park, which attract visitors looking for rest, recreation, and sports all year round. Following the paths of Matra and Bükk you will cycle beside the highest peaks of Hungary in the forest and enjoy the astonishing charm of natural landscape.

Itinerary
|

1st day: Arriving in Mátrafüred
|
|
After your landing in Budapest airport we will transfer you from airport to Mátrafüred, the popular climatic holiday centre, where you will overnight.
|
|
2nd day: Mátrafüred - Eger (46 km)
|
|
This day you will cycling through the hills of Mátra to Eger. First you will climb up through Mátraháza to Parád, then cycling in direction Sirok, with the ruins of a medieval castle and finally you arrive at Eger. In Eger you can visit the castle of Eger, Dobó tér, Turkish minaret, Basilica, Baroque Lyceum with Library, Astronomical Museum and Camera Obscura.

You can arrange a facultative evening program in Szépasszonyvölgy", where you can taste the famous wines of Eger with Hungarian specialties beside gypsy music. Overnight on Eger.

3rd day: Eger - Lillafüred (48 km)
|
|
From Eger you will climb up in the heart of the Bükk Hills. In Lillafüred you can admire Hámori-lake, waterfall, Szt. István-cave, Anna-cave, Szeleta -cave.

4th day: Lillafüred - Szilvásvárad (36 km)
|
|
On the quiet road from Lillafüred to Szilvásvárad you will cross the most beautiful parts of Bükk mountains, the biosphere reserve of Bükk Plateau. In Szalajka Valley you can see the water of Salajka Stream and the Fátyol Waterfall.

5th day: Departure from Budapest
|

Transfer from Szilvásvárad to Budapest airport. Departure according the time schedule.
